Up Close and Personal

For the past several years, I have struggled with figuring out God's calling in my life. As a child I was dead set on working in national security, but when I met my husband Alex, I decided good men are harder to come by than good jobs. I married into the roller coaster that is military life. Over the two and a half years married in the service, we have experienced a number of heartbreaks, yet a number of joys and  blessings. Throughout each of these setbacks and joys, I felt God nudging me to share them with others so that others may be encouraged and blessed by our experiences.

The summer of 2022, I finally decided to answer God's nudges to start sharing my experiences with my community of family and friends through this blog.  My desire is that I give others a glimpse into my experiences, so that you might be encouraged and blessed. What started as a journal entry I wanted to share has evolved into a Christian encouragement blog of what life has thrown my way and how I choose to respond.
